Hi ERainbow, Most travelers will start from Lauterbrunnen, then take the cable car and mountain train to Mürren, walk through the village towards the Schilthornbahn then take a cable car down to Stechelberg and hike back to Lauterbrunnen. Train back to Wengen. Option 2: Lauterbrunnen valley- take bus to Stechelberg. Walk to Lauterbrunnen. Stop by Trummelbach falls and/or Murrenbach fall (Can be used at rainy day) Option 3: 1) Bluemental Panorama Trail (Murren to Allmendhubel funicular, then down to Murren) . Then Murren to Gimmelwald walk.
3. Walk down from Wengen to Lauterbrunnen. Slightly steeper but an excellent path. A little more challenging. 1. Wengen south past Mary's cafe through Stalden and down to Trummelbach on the valley floor. 2. Train down to Lauterbrunnen short bus ride to Stechelberg then hike up to the Obersteinberg mountain hotel & resturant and back.
