Theaverage 60-degree wedge distance is 74 yards with a range of 60–100 yards. Tighter distance range in comparison to 58 degrees because the 60-degree wedge option is usually played by better, more advanced/skilled golfers. Therefore, average golfers are better off with a 58-degree wedge. Once again, full-swing, longer hitters are closer to
Naturallyoccurring iron (26 Fe) consists of four stable isotopes: 5.845% of 54 Fe (possibly radioactive with a half-life over 4.4 × 10 20 years), 91.754% of 56 Fe, 2.119% of 57 Fe and 0.286% of 58 Fe. There are 24 known radioactive isotopes, the most stable of which are 60 Fe (half-life 2.6 million years) and 55 Fe (half-life 2.7 years).. Much of the past work on
Iplay a 46* PW and I've carried just a 56*, a 51*/56*/60*, and a 54*/60* and of the three, the 54/60 combo has been my favorite. Good gaps between wedges, without much overlapping. I prefer having the extra long iron/wood in my bag over a

For example, some manufacturers could label a bike as ‘Small’, whereas a different supplier could refer to the
58 v. 60° / Wedge Discussion. I just lost my 58° that I’ve had for almost 10 years. I pretty much used it for everything within 100 yards including green side bunker shots. I also have a 56° (110 yds) that I use as kind of a bridge between my 58° (100 and under) and my gap (125). I’ve been looking into 60° as there wasn’t much of a
Ihave a 54-11 (bent to 55-12), 58-12, 60-07 and 64-07. I use the 54,58 and 64 for various sand shots and from grassy lies for pitching and chipping. I use the 60 for tight lies within 50 yards and hard packed bunkers. If you have a 56-12 vs a 58-12 as a sand wedge.. the 56 would require less effort to extract out of a bunker.
54" and "56" can vary widely from manufacturer to manufacturer and even model to model (compact geometry vs. standard). At 5'8" a true 56 will probably be a bit big but possibly not. A true 54 is probably close to the sweet spot with minor variations in stem length and saddle position making it ideal. A 52 will probably be on the small side
Thevariances between a 54 degree wedge and 56 degree wedge are minor – only two degrees, to be precise – yet they are important. my favourite sand wedge is the Cleveland RTX ZipCore. It is available in 50, 52, 54, 56, 58 and 60 degrees of loft meaning you can get matching gap, sand and lob wedges to suit your required gapping. As I
